(February 27, 2018) We are thrilled to announce two very accomplished Plenary speakers for ITRC's 2018 Annual Meeting: California Secretary for Environmental Protection (CalEPA), Matthew Rodriguez, and University of California Berkeley professor and author, David Sedlak.
Matthew Rodriguez oversees all of CalEPA's departments and advises the Governor on environmental policy as part of the Governor's cabinet. Prior to being appointed California Secretary for Environmental Protection in 2011, he worked for the California Department of Justice. Dr. Sedlak's research focuses on the fate of chemical contaminants and water reuse, and is the author of Water 4.0, a book that examines the ways in which we can gain insight into current water issues by understanding the history of urban water systems.
