ARAMS™/SADA Technology Transfer Workshop

The Interstate Technology and Regulatory Council (ITRC) Risk Assessment Resource Team is hosting the ARAMS ™ /SADA Technology Transfer Workshop on October 6 th – 8 th , 2008 in Kennebunkport, Maine.
This Workshop is designed to increase awareness of available risk assessment tools. Workshop participants will learn to use two of these available tools: ARAMS ™ (Adaptive Risk Assessment Modeling System) and SADA (Spatial Analysis and Decision Assistance).
The Workshop will incorporate on-site ARAMS ™ and SADA training sessions, including hands-on applications of case study scenarios. Workshop training sessions will focus on the broad applicability of the tools rather than on a specific element.
Who Can Attend?
The Workshop is free and open to anyone interested in learning to use the ARAMS ™ and SADA software. Participants will receive hands-on tutorials with software experts in group breakout sessions. This Workshop is suited for a variety of audiences, including:
- Statisticians
- Risk assessors
- GIS users
- Project managers
- Related stakeholders

Benefits to Workshop Participants
By the end of the Workshop, participants will be comfortable using the ARAMS ™ and SADA tools. They will have enough knowledge and hands-on experience to begin applying and using models at their sites. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with other risk assessors and risk assessment software users from across the country and around the world.
