The ITRC Fall 2000 Conference:
New Environmental Technologies and Market Opportunities

The Fall 2000 ITRC Conference, New Environmental Technologies and Market Opportunities, was the most successful gathering in ITRC history. With over 270 attendees, this was also the largest ITRC meeting ever. The dynamic agenda included sessions on DOE and DoD environmental management, state regulatory and innovation discussions, and 20 panels on the latest in environmental remediation and technology. Twelve leading environmental organizations exhibited at the conference. This undertaking was made possible by a strong partnership from state, federal, stakeholder, industry, and academic arenas. The Fall Conference has given the ITRC more specific direction as it completes its Five-Year Strategic Program Plan. With the help of attendees from more than 35 states who signed up as team members and team leaders, the ITRC gathers strength as it moves forward over the next five years. The ITRC expresses grateful appreciation to:

  • The moderators, who organized our numerous dynamic technical sessions.
  • The exhibitors of the Fall Conference, who provided a wide range of technology demonstrations throughout the week.

The ITRC hosted the Fall Conference in cooperation with the Environmental Council of States, the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence, the DOE Office of Science and Technology, DoD Environmental Security, and the EPA Technology Innovation Office. Support was also provided by the Southern States Energy Board, the Western Governors' Association, and the Remediation Technology Development Forum. Regenesis provided corporate sponsorship for the Fall 2000 ITRC Conference. We hope to see all of our attendees at future ITRC conferences and forums.
